The Grimm Brothers Spectacularathon
On January 13, 2012, the middle school drama club auditioned for this year's production. Script assignments will be posted outside Mrs. Hurley-Coughlin's room. See the schedule that has been attached below.
On May 20, 2011, the middle school drama department revived the magic of some of America's most legendary radio shows. The year is 1938. Secretariat beats War Admiral. Franklin Delanor Roosevelt addresses the nation in his fireside chats. The Great New England Hurricane batters the east coast. The Andrews Sisters enchant the nation in song. And, most memorably, The War of the Worlds throws the nation into a panic. Using authentic transcripts from 1938 and songs popular that year, our drama department brought 1938 back to life allowing you, the audience, to discover what happened behind the radio airwaves. Congratulations to the cast for a fantastic show! You were AWESOME!
